We stayed here about 5 years ago. The unit we got this time had lots of updating including some new furniture. The whole pool area has been redone - and looks beautiful. We love the location - close to water taxi - shopping - restaurants and beaches.

Due to medical issues I need a handicap accessible room. I always put my request in advance. This resort was grandfathered in so they don't have to handicap access. I ended up on the second floor with no elevator! I had to get my luggage up a flight of steps. I booked through RCI which is just horrible at this point.

Constant improvement with each year. Newly renovated rooms. New appliances. New bedding, furniture and televisions. Great WiFi. Completely rebuilt pool area. Still free parking. A few short blocks to beach, parks, restaurants and Publix as well as Galleria Mall

Great property in an amazing location, 5 minutes of walk to the beach. with superb rooms. And they provide with free parking which is a plus. The room was very big and was well furnished. Kitchen was also well stuffed. Definitely recommend a stay here.

This timeshare has an excellent location. It is a state park and the beach. We loved the new kitchen appliances and upgraded pans. Although the weather was poor, the unit was so nice that we still had a good time

It was my first time at Coconut Bay and for starters when we checked in the first thing they said that the pool was not open. I should of been told this before checking in, that was a great disappointment for me as I was specifically planning to use the pool during our stay. The place was clean and comfortable. When you're inside the room I was not able to lock the second lock, so at time I felt a little uneasy thinking that someone will be coming inside my room while we were inside. Also on Sunday our got clog and it wouldn't flush as normal. We had no plunger in our room. When we call the front desk they said that they will be sending someone to fix, but it was a lie cause when we returned the toilet was still clogged. Unfortunately if you have a problem during the weekend don't call the office because they is no one there to help you. Finally we had to find the plunger our self in order to flush the toilet. I think this is unacceptable. We also ran out of toilet paper and was told to pick it up at the front desk because they don't deliver. The service part really sucks here to be bluntly.We will not stay here again.
